Happy Birthday Fashion Consolidated!!!

I know I am a bit late, but I spent whole day freebie hunting :D. It was a helluva exhausting task. Surprisingly, a lot of freebies are still available. I managed to grab quite a lot, though not as much as I wanted to LOL. I haven't even seen them yet, but I will get to it right away. And post pictures, of course. Also I want to thank all the generous designers that participated in probably the most massive freebie giveaway in the history of SL, and a special thanks to FashCon for being the best group there is.

Do a good deed today - donate to charity

and get skins in return :). Only at Another Fundraiser, 144 female and 8 male skins, 50L$ each, or 6000L$ for a female fat pack. All skins were created by modding eloh Eliot's (Another Shop) psds. All the proceedings from this event will be donated to UNICEF. You better hurry up if you want to bring a little bit of joy to somebody, because there are only few days left till the end of the fundraiser.

Tête à Pied sale

Tête à Pied has a 50% off sale on selected skins till next week, after what the skins will be removed permanently. The skins are Kyoko, Cercle, Candy, Horus, Rebelle, Octobre and Novembre. Each skin has 3 makeup variations and 6 skintones. Single skins cost 250L$, and a skintone pack of 3 skins is 600L$. The skins on the photo are both Blush skintones. The first one is Kyoko makeup 1 and the second is Rebelle makeup 2.

Bewitched Hair secret sale round 2

Bewitched Hair continue their secret sale with even more hair added to the previous discount list. As well as in the previous one, there is hair for only 1L$ in each section, but you will need to find it yourself. Or you can just ask around, there are always people kind enough to help you. Still haven't checked it out since the previous sale, but I'll surely will, since I love the hair there, especially the bright colors.

Also some bad news. Glitter 'n Glam is closing, but they do have a sale. Honestly, when I heard about the sale it was the first time I actually heard about this shop, so I am not really sad to see them go, although it is a pity. They do have some nice swimsuits there, jewelry and shapes. I got a skull bikini and a leather belt cuff bracelets.

The FabFree blog is an excellent place to find out where the best freebies and dollarbies in SL are. With few post a day, you can keep your SL closet updated all the time, so you won't get bored frequently (like I do :p). It is the perfect reading material if you are a newbie, since, you must admit, you want to look good, but you don't want to part of those precious lindens earned from hours, or even days of camping :):):) You can also post your freebie finds, so pls, do share.

Passionate Neko Dreams dollarbee hunt

For their grand opening, Passionate Neko Dreams is organizing a dollarbee hunt. Be very cautious all you fashion clueless avs, because the Second Life Fashion Police is always on the lookout for new victims. If you are noticed, run, i.e. TP, as fast as you can, unless you want to receive the bashing of your life.

Somebody was ought to teach those fashion freaks a lesson. The girls are absolutely hilarious. No hair on their tongue, that's for sure. And the best thing is that apart from getting a good laugh, you'll be also getting tips on how NOT to look like in SL. Actually the biggest reason why I checked this blog out in the first place is to see if by any weird twist of fate I'm there. And thank god I'm not. Not that I was worried that I would be there LOL.

So if you happen to see a fashion disaster, do send them an email. The more fashion crime reports, the merrier :D

Bershka

Finally I got around to continue writing about Bershka. As I said previously, the clothing is extremely inexpensive. The most expensive item costs L$40. The clothing here are preppy, formal and elegant, consisting of mostly tops and jeans/pants. Very few skirts and shoes, no accessories, and also I don't recall seeing any dresses. The clothes are good quality, very simple, nothing extravagant, mostly plain colored, though with good design. This makes them perfect for combining them with almost anything you got in your inventory, even with more extravagant pieces, so you can still keep your sense of style.

Its been a long time....

since my last post. But I'm back now. I hope everybody had a good time during the holidays, and I wish all of you a successful new year, full of joy and happiness. Currently I am preparing new content for the upcoming posts, and also for a new blog. Yup, thats right, a new blog. The concept will stay the same, only the world will change ;)
